Role Profile:

You are responsible for garment send-outs and keeping garment stock in order to guarantee product placement and credits for H&M.

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

Build a MENA strategy for Fashion PR and Showroom, together with the Senior PR & Communications Manager as well as Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager based on insights regarding customer, brand, media & competitive landscape.

Act as a brand ambassador for Alshaya H&M Division brands and identify, maintain and develop a network with the appropriate fashion journalists, stylists, influencers, celebrities and other opinion leaders. Work proactively to get earned product placements and present latest collections and news.  

Responsible for leading the showroom & PR coordinators effectively, as well as driving overall showroom tactics, including planning, execution and follow up.

Communicate H&M Brands messages externally and internally, together with Host Brand, the Senior PR& Communications Manager and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager.

Organize inspiring brand event & press trips around special collections launches to drive word of mouth and fashion credibility.

Monitors and analyses the results of PR & influencer activities in order to calculate ROI insights and measure impact of local strategy, both through internal data but also with influencer & media data gathered by collaborating with agencies and relevant systems

You work alongside the Fashion PR lead, Senior PR & Communications Manager and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager with local fashion PR activities, primarily in the showroom.

Drive sample administration, including working with relevant systems, optimizing results by proactively and reactively handling requests and send outs.

You secure visual presentation in the showroom with current garments and products.

Responsible of internal sample sales in accordance to our policy on purchases/lending products from showrooms.

Ensure product placement by tracking magazines, newspapers, influencers, radio and TV-channels

Drive general office administration duties, e.g. filling of press cuttings.

You act as a brand ambassador for H&M Division.

Identify, maintain and develop a network on a market level with the appropriate fashion journalists, stylists, influencers, celebrities and other opinion leaders.

Attend relevant events, both internal and external, for networking and business purposes.

Reports to the Senior PR & Communications Manager but ensures a daily dialogue with the Fashion PR lead who are responsible of the overall development for Fashion PR & Showroom.

Foster a close collaboration with the PR Manager, Showroom Supervisor and Portfolio Brands Marketing Manager to maximize synergies between paid and earned relationships.

Ability to fully understand the different brands within the H&M Showroom: H&M, COS, & Other Stories in terms of DNA, aesthetics and communication.

 

Knowledge:

A formal education within Business, Communication &/or Marketing is meriting - if not, at least 5 years of working experience in relevant roles.

Fluency in English and preferably Arabic.

Experience:

You have Showroom and/or experience from working with PR.

You have experience from successfully coordinating projects.

You have a fashion background/deep interest and knowledge of fashion.

You have experience in building a professional network.

Meriting with competence within digital/tech and omni ways of working.

Skills:

You have a strategic and analytical mindset with strong planning and prioritizing skills.

You understand synergies between owned, paid & earned media.

You have excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.

You are an excellent relationship builder.

Fluent in Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

Experience in working with/or in connection to editorial fashion is meriting.

You understand synergies between owned, paid & earned media.

You have excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English and Arabic. Knowledge in other languages is meriting.

Knowledge on local relevant publication houses in the region.

 

Additional role requirements:

Be involved in all showroom events and support project management such as event orders posters, press gifts etc) invitation send out, visual presentation and catering for showroom events.

Assist project managers in executing projects and events.

Work proactively to get earned product placements and present latest collections and news.

Monitor editorial fashion clippings and free publicity and register in the PRA system. [TBD If relevant with PRA system in this new set-up]

Communicate with stores for in-store press appointments and lending samples/products.

Take care of general office administration duties; photo copying, filling of press cuttings, reports.

Always wear H&M or H&M Brandsgarments in the showroom.
