The Role:

  • To develop and implement the social media strategy to support the Alshaya Loyalty programme
  • To build and create a community amongst existing and new programme members

Key Performance Areas

  • To support the Alshaya Loyalty social channels, and develop a roadmap for the future
  • Working closely with the Marketing teams, support the Loyalty promotional calendar online, aligned to Alshaya’s business requirements
  • To create / source content from brands, content team and other sources as required
  • To support online promotional requirements; social and digital, organic and paid
  • To keep up to date with new social media practices and features
  • To ensure consistent tone of voice in line with the loyalty programme
  • To monitor, review and optimize campaigns
  • To proactively build and manage the programme community, and build on this as a valuable data source
  • To create marketing content as required (EN / AR)

Skills Required


  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal English & Arabic)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid knowledge of Social and Digital media, including SEO
  • Good teamwork
  • An ability to work to deadlines
  • Proactive approach to business requirements


  • 3+ years direct experience in social media – brand or agency side
