Role Profile:

The Performance Officer supports the planning, coordination and delivery of media strategy and marketing performance for the brands in their divisional portfolio, reporting to a Senior Performance Manager and working as part of the Performance Management team.

Working as part of the Cairo based Performance Management team they will provide day-to-day support for the planning, production, measurement and review of marketing campaigns and the marketing process.

They will follow the omni-channel operating model, leveraging full-funnel marketing to improve footfall, sessions and sales for stores and eCommerce at the best omni-channel ROI.

They will work with continual focus on the customer, considering how we communicate with different customers audiences, improving how we engage with them and their customer experience, to help drive customer loyalty and growth.

Performance Areas (to include but not limited to):

 

  • Planning
    • Help to build omni-channel media plans with to deliver customer and campaign objectives
    • Support the monthly marketing performance review process including use of Full Funnel Modelling to understand omni-channel marketing performance, customer scorecard, and reforecasting.
  • Campaign & Performance Management
    • Collaborate with Central Marketing stakeholders to support the marketing production process and successfully launch and deliver the media strategy and plan
    • Be a customer champion and work with brand teams to create and deliver high quality, consistent, relevant and engaging brand experiences across the full customer journey, to increase sentiment, brand equity and commercial performance.
    • Responsible for the management of brand media budgets to deliver ROI and commercial targets
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Provide regular reporting of marketing performance to inform stakeholders and to help identify challenges and opportunities.
    • Help to perform detailed analysis of marketing performance for Post Campaign Reviews to draw insights and build recommendations
  • Media Strategy & Development
    • Help to launch and measure new marketing tactics and ideas to develop the media capabilities of brands and improve overall marketing performance
  • People
    • Work closely with and support other members of the Performance Management team within and across divisional squads
  • Expertise
    • Maintain a good level of knowledge in your field of expertise and be aware of key industry innovations
    • Look for new opportunities and make suggestions as to how things can be improved

Experience:

  • Relevant marketing degree or professional qualification
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and campaigns including brand marketing, performance marketing and CRM
  • Experience interpreting and leveraging attribution metrics and models to understand and optimise marketing channel mixes.
  • Fashion, home furnishing and beauty experience
  • Experience of MENA markets

Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of ROI and all KPIs controlling marketing performance.
  • Expertise with web analytical and data tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adjust, Firebase, Magento etc.)
  • Understanding of how to use marketing channels individually and as part of a marketing mix to drive revenue and ROI at scale.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms and tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Advertising, Google Marketing Platform, DSPs
  • Strong understanding of the concepts of CRM, loyalty, customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
