The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya. Working closely with brand teams to ensure appropriate stock and delivery to store, the team manages a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management.

Role Profile:

Directly accountable for fulfilment across multiple markets and channels responsible for upto circa 100m KDs worth of sales and 10m KD worth of cost.

This individual must be extremely customer focused and be relentless in wanting to do the right thing for the customer. Must be comfortable in managing multiple suppliers directly and indirectly and be adept at identifying and implementing service improvements. They must be able to demonstrate high levels of collaboration and be effective at using collaboration to deliver results, both internally and externally. Must be a skilled leader capable of excelling within a matrix organization and demonstrate the correct behaviors to ensure success at all levels.  A determined process oriented individual with an eye for detail and resilience combined with the ability to multitask while assisting in overseeing the day to day running of operations and holding people to account. A people’s person with the natural flair in building relationships internal & external across 6 markets.
