Our multi-disciplined finance teams support and improve business performance while maintaining effective and robust control. We have teams working within our retail divisions; reviewing financial performance, identifying trends, spotting opportunities and supporting business planning and decision making. In our Central Finance Team, business performance is recorded, reported and analyzed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Finance staff also play an active role in the review and enhancement of business processes and technology usage.

The Role:

Our Senior Financial Analysts ensure senior managers within brands and head office divisions remain commercially focused and are able to make strategic business decisions based on accurate and timely reports. In this role you will produce regular and ad hoc reports as well as analyse information and pro-actively investigate any additional management information requirements. Retail is a fast-paced industry and working in a financial role in this environment calls for candidates who can work quickly and accurately, think ahead and react to change.

This is a varied and diverse role which will enable professional qualified accountants to make a valuable contribution to the growth of entire division.

 Responsibilities:

  • Analyse Monthly results by running monthly & weekly reports
  • Develop and deliver presentations to support business cases, expenditure proposals and decisions
  • Produce timely & accurate standardized reports as per business requirements
  • Drive cost savings plan & prepare road maps to coordinate with different teams to achieve the targets
  • Prepare Divisional KFR package
  • Reforecast profit expectation with Finance Manager and highlight any risk or opportunities
  • Advise and assist in Planning / budgeting / forecasting / reporting of total retail business
  • Monitor ongoing performance and give directions to enable achieve the business plan
  • Develop models to analyse previous, current & future performance for support and management team to take business decisions

You will have/be:

  • Degree in Business or Finance (or a related field)
  • A recognized professional finance or accountancy qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience gained within finance or accountancy
  • Strong presentation & communication skills
