In order to achieve this ambitious objective, the company has made the decision to create a new executive position, based at the Alshaya Group headquarters in Kuwait and reporting to the President – H&M Division.
Alshaya is the first franchise collaboration for H&M globally and currently operates over 150 H&M stores, 16 COS stores, 3 Monki Stores and 4 & Other Stories stores across 10 Markets in the MENA region with a very large turnover and diverse staff comprising over 50 nationalities. The Alshaya Group & H&M values form the foundation of an extremely fast paced business in a matrix organization, providing ‘fashion and quality at the best price’.
Responsible for the entire H&M Division, the Vice President – H&M will support the Alshaya plan to aggressively pursue the development of the MENA H&M portfolio of brands, over the next few years.
*10 - 20 years gained in fast fashion retail, including a minimum of 10 years as a senior manager
*Evidence of successfully developing either a global large single brand or a portfolio of multiple brand
*Ideally the candidate will showcase a proven track record of multi-brand / multi P&L accountability across a large multi-country region with a high-volume fast fashion retailer
*Strong fashion, operations, merchandising and marketing experience in stores and proven omni channel experience
*Successful track record of multi-site retail management experience with a proven track record of success
*Combination of "hands-on" operational knowledge with strong people development skills – leads by example
*Works to established KPI’s and holds teams accountable for delivery
