Alshaya is currently expanding its F&B operations in the Middle East and to realize this highly ambitious plan, the company is currently looking for a dynamic, commercially focused and profit driven Vice President – Premium Dining to join its Food division. The selected candidate's main mandate will be to spearhead the expansion of Alshaya’s Premium Dining portfolio which consists of several Fine Dining brands. In addition to being a successful restaurant business leader; a pre-requisite for the role is strategic thinking as well as a track record of multiple restaurant brands management. Ideally with a strong restaurant industry background, the successful candidate will be a confident communicator who is passionate about food, growing food brands and delivering profit within a competitive environment.
*To be fully accountable for the P&L delivery and growth of the Premium Dining brands portfolio;
*To lead the strategic development and business planning of the department;
*To spearhead implementation of the business plan, in order to deliver results in terms of brands expansion & profit;
*To lead and manage quarterly & annual strategy performance reviews;
*To lead a team of several Business Managers and Business Directors managing the brands within the portfolio;
*To ensure consistency of products & service delivery as per brand standards;
*To guarantee that all restaurants, staff and processes comply with high-end international F&B standards;
*To ensure adherence to brand identity and agreements;
*To liaise with key stakeholders, acting as head representative on behalf of Alshaya with franchise business partners;
*To identify business development opportunities to expand the division in existing and potential new markets.
*Minimum 20 years of experience gained in F&B and/or hospitality businesses, including a minimum of half in senior leadership positions;
*Solid back of the house (menu design, new product development, quality control/assurance, cost control etc.) knowledge;
*Proven track record of restaurant chain development is a big plus;
*Strong multi-country, multi-site and multi-brand experience;
*Solid multi support functions expertise at Managing Director level;
*"Hands-on" operational experience as well as strong strategic skills.
